Chef Guy Masi is a Sussex County native. He comes from a very food oriented family. From a very early age he was always interested in helping grandma (Jenny Red) in her kitchen.
After going to college and becoming a surveyor, he always found a way to get in the kitchen, be it catering a party for friends or a dinner for the local fire department.
Finally in 2002 Guy attended The French Culinary Institute, and graduated at the top of his class. Upon graduation Guy headed to France. He worked under Chef Yann Plassard at his Michelin rated restaurants La Fleur De Sel and Ma Petite Folie.
Upon returning home Guy started working at Andre's Restaurant & Wine Boutique in Newton.
After several years at Andre's and a new family, Guy decided to become a personal chef. This enabled him to still enjoy making great food for people and spend time with his young family.
Guy is a member of American Personal & Private Chef Association, is ServSafe food sanitation certified and fully insured.
